Popular Liverpool club collective 303 are back at Williamson Tunnels bringing along with them Japan's revered DJ export Satoshi Tomiie on Saturday September 6th.
The return to the Tunnels for 303 makes perfect sense - with the unique space boasting a labyrinth of underground tunnels for which the main cavern provides the perfect urban backdrop for this round of deep hypnotic house.
A name well acquainted with house music, Tomiie was an affiliate of Def Mix, the three way team of the late great Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Hecor Romero, starting SAW recordings with the latter in the mid to late nineties.
He boasts an inventory of club hits that stretch as far back as 1989 when he co-produced 'Tears' with Knuckles, being a driving force in the tribal house movements and spotlighting a gamut of dark noir grooves lapped up across the globe
The Japanese godfather is responsible for refining and reinventing the Chicago and New York house blueprint whilst overseeing contemporary names such as Audiojack and Guti, the latter gifted with a sensational remix of his track 'Keep It' which can be heard above.
Released on SAW, it gained recognition from Loco Dice and Marco Carola demonstrating his heavyweight musical pedigree and continued relevance in the game. Grab your tickets here for what will be a special night of music.
