Freeze are on a serious run of form at the minute. Their recent collaboration with Cream heralded one of the raves of the year so far, with Marco Carola destroying the abandoned asylum at Newsham Park last weekend.
Likewise fellow Liverpool promoters mUmU have established a significant underground following over the past seven years, with some of the biggest names in techno joining them for extended sessions in intriguing locations around the city.
The two Merseyside heavyweights join forces to launch 48 Hours in Liverpool on May 30th, with Siberian techno goddess Nina Kraviz taking the limelight at the New Bird Street Warehouse in the heart of the city's Baltic Triangle.
The leading lady of techno will bring her solid selection skills and unmatchable mastery of groove to the city's discerning revellers, delivered with all the charm and charisma we've come to expect from the trailblazing DJ (witness that above).
She will be joined by Fuse mastermind Enzo Siragusa (above), whose dubbed out, trippy techno mutations have been the beating heart of the underground in London for the past six years.
Freeze & mUmU residents Jemmy and Lee Rands join in to give an unmissable prelude to what is looking like a supreme 48 hour rave up over the August Bank Holiday. Get your 48 Hours in Liverpool launch tickets here.
