More than 100 artists will lend a hand in celebrating the roots of house music when the festival returns to London's Copthall Playing Fields this summer

Following the resounding success of last year's instalment, the team of seasoned organisers behind what is probably one of London's most sought-after live music events, 51st Festival have announced the first phase of artists set to have audiences jumping when it returns to the UK capital of culture on Saturday 5th August.
Taking up residence on the wide open green spaces of Copthall Playing Fields, easily accessible by tube (Mill Hill East and Hendon Central, both on the Northern Line), train (Mill Hill Broadway, 17 minutes from King’s Cross St Pancras), bus (Copthall Sports Centre) and by car, with plenty of parking available, the 2023 edition of the festival will celebrate the roots of House music, exploring its origins and offshoots - from soulful and classic to tech and afro, garage, soul and disco, RnB, Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Hip Hop, Amapiano and more.
Recently teasing some of the many acts scheduled to perform across the day-long event, those looking to attend 51st Festival this summer can look forward to world-class sets from iconic names in dance music the likes of David Morales, Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Jess Bays, Majestic, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Norman Jay, Mike Dunn, DJ Pioneer, Roy Ayers, performing with a full live band on his farewell UK tour, and many others.
