Having stormed to success in the early 80s, and been the responsible driving force behind bands such as The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine and Primal Scream to name but a few, The Primitives have played an integral part in shaping British music. The indie pop quartet mix heavy riffs with soft and feminine vocals.
Following a hiatus of almost eighteen years and the unfortunate death of former member Steve Dullinghan, the group reformed in 2009. The band then went on to release their 2010 EP Never Kill a Secret as well as their 2012 album Echoes and Rhymes. They'll come to London's 229 The Venue on Friday 25th May.
