The full single based on the cult chant 'Will Grigg's On Fire' is one of the highest climbers in the official trending chart, coming in at number 11.
The lyrics were written by YouTuber and Wigan faithful Sean Kennedy, sung to the tune of Gala’s 1997 banger ‘Freed From Desire’. After the clip went viral, house duo Blonde transformed it into an official track under the alias DJ Kenno in honour of Kennedy’s contribution. Listen to it below.
Blonde were approached by the chairman and other representatives from Wigan with the intention of releasing it for charity. All proceeds will go to Joseph’s Goal, a Wigan-based charity named after 7 year old football fan Joseph Kendrick, who suffers from rare genetic disorder Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia.

If you're keen to sing along, it goes a little something like this: "He will score goals, he will just score more and more/He will score goals, that’s what we signed him for/Will Grigg’s on fire/Your defence is terrified”.
