A Message From the Festival Board...

On behalf of the festival board I would like to say a massive heartfelt thanks to the famously friendly audience who once again turned up in their thousands to enjoy a short staycation of Scottish shenanigans.

On behalf of the festival board I would like to say a massive heartfelt thanks to the famously friendly audience who once again turned up in their thousands to enjoy a short staycation of Scottish shenanigans.

However, as much as we would like to recline on our futon of laurels we realise that tweaks and twiddles will need to be made to ensure a zen like state of happiness for 2010.

Quiet camping did not turn out to be as quiet as we had planned and we are looking at options to address this for next year.

The cashback charges will be reviewed for 2010.

We have received a few queries regarding the exit routes in operation on the Sunday morning, in that some cars are turned towards Dalbeattie and some towards Kirkcudbright. We can assure you that there is good reason behind this and both roads lead to the A75 and closer to the festival next year we intend to provide a demonstration of the exit system on Wicker Vision to show the benefits of this approach.

We look forward to seeing you back for more fiery frolics in 2010 and we will keep you up to speed with developments through our website and Wicker Vision.

Thank you again for joining us in 2009.

Festival Director
