Saturday the 23rd of May will see A Wing welcome one of the biggest hitters in modern house music to the disused prison as part of its first birthday celebrations.
The founding father of the all conquering Toolroom imprint - Mark Knight brings his dancefloor primed sounds to the Lancastrian castle, making use of the sublime Funktion One in a setting that still impresses with each visit.
The Grammy Award winning producer has also been at the forefront of the digital market for sometime, with Toolroom Records remaining ahead of the curve on how we digest music. Meanwhile his productions have always maintained a timeless quality that keeps its aim firmly on the dancefloor. Big hits like his version of 'Man With The Red Face' (above) and 'Alright' underline his prowess.
His time honoured crowd reading abilities and unending list of classics and unreleased beats will have all the inmates raving into the wee small hours. Check him in action above to see what all the fuss is about. Matt Thiss and Josh Lee support.
