After last week's announcement that DJing wizard James Zabiela, Hot Creations favourite Denney and tech house impresario Sonny Wharton would be playing in the former Lancaster Castle prison, news soon followed that beginning the audacious A Wing rave weekend on May 23rd would be two of the most celebrated DJing forces in the UK.
Rob Da Bank leads the way. His longstanding Radio One residency and two massively successful self curated festivals - Bestival and Camp Bestival, have repeatedly cemented his supreme tastemaking abilities.
Behind the decks Rob Da Bank is a true master, with his eclectic, dance floor primed sets making him one of the most respected jocks in the field. Check out his blistering Boiler Room set above to see what we mean.
Joining him will be The 2 Bears. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2010, Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell have garnerd widespread critical praise, with regular airplay following from some of the biggest personalities in radio.
Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Fearne Cotton, Zane Lowe and fittingly Rob Da Bank have all been keen to champion their unique blending of 2 step, techno, pop, house and indie, making them an unrivaled crossover success in the UK and abroad. Watch them doing their thing above.
Manchester based Funkademia resident and former member of The Slammin Boys Jamie Scahill will also be on hand to guarantee that the most original rave up in recent memory gets off to an absolute flyer.
