After numerous years of parties that have featured a number of industry heavyweights, Abandon Silence enters its fifth year of carefully curated shindigs at Liverpool's distinct cultural hub The Kazimier.
The opening party takes place on Friday 3rd of October, with a freakishly good line up headed by Swiss techno titan Deetron. His three deck performances give him an enhanced capability to work beyond usual constraints, mustering up sunny cosmic techno that stays true to its Detroit roots, exceptionally demonstrated in the Mixmag lab with Will Saul (above).
Joining him is fellow aficionado Marquis Hawkes who's been making waves with his discerning house leanings that can be seen taking the Berlin Boiler Room by storm below. His exploits have alerted Dixon Avenue, ManMakeMusic, Houndstooth and Basement who've subsequently all released his sought after productions, with support coming from industry peers such as Jackmaster.
Also performing will be the Abandon Silence's ever loyal squad of residents, who are known to shake up the main room of the venue that's now fully fledged with a new boosted soundsytem, cutting edge lighting for an enhanced visual experience, whilst the Kazimier's revered Rat Alley has undertaken a mass refurbishment giving the venue with the ultimate party vibe.
