Hot on the heels of last weekend's barnstorming birthday bash that saw Swiss techno don Deetron and mangled house lord Marquis Hawkes tear Kazimier a new one, Abandon Silence reveal the line up for part two of their five year celebrations, and in typical fashion, it's huge.
Taking headline duties on November 7th will be the master of raw house cuts - Motor City Drum Ensemble. Renowned for his retro futuristic house productions, laced with elements of jazz, soul, funk hip hop and countless other inspirations, Motor City Drum Ensemble is the perfect Abandon Silence guest, eclectic and challenging, but delivered with the dance floor firmly in mind. Watch his set in the Boiler Room above to see what we mean.
He will be joined by My Love Is Underground boss Underground Paris. Also known as Jeremy, the vinyl obsessed Parisian has been at the helm of one of the coolest house labels in recent years, where he draws on classic New Jersey house tropes and brings them fiercely up to date, whilst keeping the charm and mystique of the original canvass. Expect some serious shapes to be pulled when he gets behind the 1210s. Andrew Hill rounds off the heavyweight line up in the main room.
Room two comes under the name Rat Alley, and will be hosted by rip-roaring bass, techno and house imprint Church. Label bosses Seb Wildblood and Apes go back to back, whilst Abandon Silence mainstays Rich Furness, Harry Sheehan and Owain Gwyn round off the unmissable second instalment of their five part birthday series.
