Liverpool promoter powerhouses Abandon Silence and 24 Kitchen Street are set to join forces for a weekend of events within the city's Baltic Triangle area.
From Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th June, an accumulation of live acts and DJs will take to Merseyside for the first ever Baltic Weekender. The Friday and Saturday instalments will host some favourites from the clubbing authorities' previous events, before the weekend comes to a close with an intimate closing party.
Abandon Silence will celebrate their 7th birthday as part of the Weekender, no doubt bringing in a bill to match the milestone featuring the most forward-thinking house, techno and disco names. 24 Kitchen Street will be showcasing talent alongside their brands, with Wonder Pot, Hot Plate and several more hosting stages across the weekend, pushing house, grime, techno, bass and reggae.
Andrew Hill, founder of Abandon Silence, said, "The Baltic Weekender is something that ourselves and the 24KS team have discussed for a few years now, and after all of the attacks that our culture has come under in recent months and years, we thought that 2017 was the perfect time to go ahead with our plans and really make a statement to the city that we are worth something."
The line up and venue details will be announced soon.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday at the Baltic Weekender are available now. Tickets and details for the closing party on Sunday 4th June will be released in April.
