A brand new techno festival will take over Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire this May.
Acropolis, created by event and festival promoters JBM Music, will welcome ‘We Are The Brave’ founder Alan Fitzpatrick, larger-than-life Bristolian Eats Everything, eclectic selector Enzo Siragusa, Mancunian trio Mason Collective, and dynamic Londoner PAWSA to the historic monument, which dates back to the eleventh century (and once held Mary Queen of Scots captive).
Taking place on Saturday 2nd May, organisers say it is 'the first ever techno event to be held in a castle within the UK' and promises to be a unique experience, with ravers from across the UK gathering to party amongst ancient ruins overlooking the rolling hills of the Peak District.
Acropolis is the first of seven new festivals planned for this year by JBM, which last year staged an impressive 64 music events, booking over 300 artists and attracting more than 53,000 people.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 21st February. You can sign up to be the first in line below.
