Adidas cut ties with Kanye West

Adidas has now confirmed that they have cut ties with Kanye West after an initial period of inaction over his anti-semitic comments. The rapper has been doubling down on his anti-semitism as he has made a strong push towards the right wing in recent months and has appeared on numerous talk shows to discuss his views.

It has led to a rise in anti-semitic hate crimes in America with far-right organisations using his comments as a way to justify his actions. He has also recently acquired the social media platform Parler which has been a favourite of figures who have defended themselves as being "cancelled" despite voicing hateful comments.

His products with Adidas have immediately been pulled from sale and other brands/companies associated with Kanye have also pulled their support such as Gap, Balenciaga and JP Morgan. All in all it has been a sharp fall from the top from a rapper who is exhibiting truly divorced behaviour, with him even making some seriously scary threats against Kim Kardashian's last boyfriend Pete Davidson.
