Hailing from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, six piece afro-fusion collective Mokoomba come to London's Forge for a headline gig.

Often being cited as one of Africa's most successful international bands, Zimbabwe's Afro-fusion collective Mokoomba come to London for a headline gig of their Tonga and Luvale rhythm blend. The six-piece band take a contemporary twist on their traditional sound, by adding elements of funk, ska and soukous.

The band have played all over the world and gained recognition in the majority of locations they land in. Having won various awards for their unique sound and live performances filled with raw energy, including the National Arts Merit Award for Arts Personality of the Year, Mokoomba know how to put on a show.
Following the release of the band's latest album, Luyando you can catch them at London's Forge on Sunday 18th June.
