Dutch remix prodigy Afrojack comes to Gatecrasher Nottingham on September 24th, to kickstart three weeks of birthday celebrations.
The club celebrates its third birthday later this month, and despite its infancy has already caused a huge stir within the club community - with dance music heavyweights Swedish House Mafia and Tiesto labelling it 'the best club in the world'.
Following a host of road-blocked sell-out performances in Birmingham and Leeds, Afrojack will lead the birthday celebrations at Gatecrasher Nottingham with a huge party on September 24th.
That same night Afrojack will also skip across to Gatecrasher Birmingham, where he'll be continuing the party with the help of AN21 and more. Tickets for Afrojack at Gatecrasher Birmingham are available here.
Winning ‘Best Remix’ at the Grammy awards last year for his take on the Madonna track ‘Revolver’, the Holland native has climbed from strength to strength, storming the charts with monster solo hit ‘Take Over Control’, and providing success with his distinctive sound on Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’, and ‘Run the World (Girls)’ with Beyonce, making him in constant high demand.
Respected by his colleague DJs for his production talent and skills and loved by clubbers for his dancefloor bombs and energetic performances, Afrojack sets a new standard in the industry and comes to Nottingham to provide clubbers with an incredible night.
Since opening in 2009, Gatecrasher has brought glamour and decadence to Nottingham by boosting the city’s reputation for entertainment and improving its economy. Gatecrasher Nottingham has already attracted a high-profile party crowd from across the UK, playing host to DJs such as Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, 2manydjs, Sasha & many more.
Since it launched, the club has played host to specialist music events and top flight global DJ’s and brands. Last month Gatecrasher launched the festival of Ibiza season, bringing in Ibiza's wildest performers and dancers direct from the white isle
Joining Afrojack will be hot up and coming artist Apster. With releases on labels like Spinnin Records, Afrojack’s Wall Recordings and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and remixes for Laidback Luke, Sidney Samson, the Bingo Players and Hardwell, the 26-year-old definitely stands out from all the talented DJ/Producers that the Dutch house scene has to offer, mashing up genres to provide a unique experience for the senses.
Gatecrasher Nottingham 3rd Birthday celebrations form part of Gatecrasher's 18th Birthday celebrations, which sees Gatecrasher hosting events across the UK within its venues.
