Akala tours genius comic book EP 'Visions' this Autumn

Renowned for being an educator as well as an entertainer, London rapper Akala has once again pushed the boundaries of what is musically possible with his latest work, the Visions EP.
By tackling the themes and messages of a comic book in musical form, Akala has offered a much more accessible way of consuming literature, something his Hip Hop Shakespeare company has always looked to achieve, and is undoubtedly doing so.

Those heading to his UK shows this Autumn can witness the rapper bring his extended play to life with an audio visual presentation of Visions dovetailing with a wealth of past material, with the rapper capable of delivering a barrage of bars over a bed of jarring beats and basslines.
