The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr has released new single 'Born Slippy' from his upcoming third album.
Titled Momentary Masters, the album arrives on July 31st and is the first we've heard from the guitarist in two years after The Strokes released Comedown Machine. It's his first solo effort for sometime, after ¿Cómo Te Llama? landed in 2008, and 'Born Slippy' is another piece of the albums jigsaw.
Directed by Justyna Hammond Jr, the video matches the songs looping sun brushed melody with an encyclopaedic profile of human nature through multiple shots of intricacies of the world we live in.
Albert Hammond Jr plays at Hare and Hounds on Thursday 19th November
