Alfresco Festival partners independent bands with legendary DJs and a host of kids entertainment. It's a far cry from the novelty rock sticks and fairground rides we all tend to associate with Blackpool, and Alfresco are proud to offer something different that suits everyone from old school ravers to excitable toddlers.
For Alfresco's fourth year they're setting up camp at Blackpool Cricket Club and they've enlisted A Love From Outer Space aka Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston to bring their signature hypnotic mix of house, disco and acid (have a listen to one of their mixes below). Also playing is one of the festival's favourites, Craig Bratley.
Techno and electronica wiz Shit Robot also sits on the line up, alongside the original punk funkers ESG. Alfresco is one of the few family festivals that delivers quality line ups, with equally as impressive entertainment for the little ones. If you fancy a family day out with a twist, head here for full line up and tickets.
