King of the carnival Norman Jay MBE ensures this year will be no different, arriving with plenty of Notting Hill spirit on Saturday 20th June. Unrestricted by genre and cherished wherever he lands, the Good Times sound system (below) head honcho is quintessentially the man to lead this one.
With the carnival groove securely set in place, Fat City Records provide support, with a troupe of their all star selectors triggering a selection of the Manchester record stores finest wax.
