The lines are closed, the votes have been counted and verified, and we are pleased to announce the finalists for the first ever Skiddle.com Resident DJ of the Year competition.
Thank you to all who entered. We were swamped with incredible talent - and competition was particularly fierce. But in the end there could be only two finalists.
The finalists are:
Ginny K
Hailing from Lancaster, Ginny started DJing in 2003 after a trip to Ibiza left her wanting to recreate the magic she felt there for other people. In the past few years she's played sets at the Orange Corner in Ibiza, enjoyed a year long residency in Kendal and played alongside acts such as Kisy Sell Out and the Scratch Perverts at 'Lancaster Loves... 09'
Catch Ginny K at Wickerman from 7pm - 8pm on the Saturday, with Kutski, Sonny Wharton and Ant Brooks.
Euphonique
Manchester based Euphonique began as a bedroom techno DJ in 2005, before discovering her love for Drum and Bass in 2009 and beginning to DJ professionally at a selection of well known clubs all over the country. She's the founder and promoter of Sub-Woofah! - a Manchester based brand and club night specialising in drum & bass, dubstep, electro, techno and breaks.

Euphonique will take the 7-8pm slot on the Friday, with Utah Jazz and Fabio.
A huge congratulations to both DJs, who will play at the Skiddle.com tent at The Wickerman Festival next week - after which one will be crowned Resident of the Year, in Association with Connected DJ's.
As well as being crowned Resident DJ of the Year, The winner will enjoy a three-stage prize in conjunction with prestigious UK agency, Connected DJ and Artist Management that will include an exclusive management consultation, a 'Marketing Master Class' with DJ Sonny Wharton, and a studio tutorial session with Connected rising star Ant Brooks.
Good luck to both finalists - bring on The Wickerman Festival!
