Brooklyn political rapper Lawrence Parker, known widely by his pseudonym KRS-One, is to head out on tour across the UK, hitting the likes of Norwich, Sheffield, Devon and Swansea.
After being the driving force behind the hip-hop crew Boogie Down Productions from 1987 to '92, and having contributed to five albums as part of the group, KRS-One (an acronym for Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone) started his solo venture from 1993.

His solo debut, Return of the Boom Bap, contains his most recognisable and catchy 'Sound of da Police' in collaboration with legendary DITC producer Showbiz, the emcee held by many as the greatest of all time. He's now twelve albums deep and boasts a back catalogue of politically charged hip-hop anthems.
