Amp Fiddler will bring the funk to SSW Summer Weekender in June having been announced for the event at Stanwix Holiday Park. The keyboardist has worked with some of the most prestigious artists the world over, and can include the likes of Moodymann, Parliament/Funkadelic , Prince and Jamiroquai in a lengthy list of hook ups.
Fiddler journeyed aboard George Clinton's mothership between 1985 and 1996 while also dropping his debut solo record in 1990. Since then a slew of releases have followed and the genre transcending journeyman delivered his latest studio album, Motor City Booty, earlier this year.
Along with a handful of guest vocal appearances, the record won plaudits for successfully channelling 70s grooves with bang up to date production values.
Fiddler joins a stellar SSW Summer Weekender 2017 line up that includes 'Voodoo Ray' toting Hacienda icon A Guy Called Gerald, disco edit don Joey Negro and a host of other top notch DJs and producers. Grab your SSW Summer Weekender tickets via the box below.
