SOUL singer and goddaughter of tragic star Amy Winehouse, Dionne Bromfield, will top the bill at a concert in Whitstable.
She will be joined by soprano Natalie Coyle and classic cabaret singer Xara Vaughan this month.
Organised by English Events, headed up by former Apprentice winner Stella English, One Summer Night is a celebration of English glamour. It features gentlemen in black tie and ladies in gowns and live, open air performances by home-grown internationally renowned performers, complete with backdrop of a castle, its grounds and gardens.
Singer and former TV presenter Dionee released her debut album in 2009 under Lioness Records, founded by her Amy Winehouse, and her track with Tinchy Stryder - Spinnin’- was the first song chosen as an official Olympic track.
She is also a member of the Royal Choral Society.
Singer Xara Caughan has performed in many musical styles from fronting punk bands on the Camden scene to a Jewish cover’s band but has settled into the intimate world of cabaret.
One Summer Night is on August 30 and begins at 7pm with a champagne and canapé reception and a string quartet.
Later in the evening there will also be a luxury buffet.
English Events boss and Whitstable resident Stella English said: “I am excited and honoured to have the support of such amazing artists in raising the profile of beautiful but under-utilised venues.
“One Summer Night is the first of our unique events, with a variety of further events already being planned.”
Single tickets cost £55 or £100 for a double ticket.
