Birmingham-born brand Leftfoot has launched its series of underground music shows across the city, taking you through the spring and summer months of 2017, with further announcements to come of their plans for the autumn period.
Founders Adam Regan and Richard Whittingham created Leftfoot back in 2000, with the intention of recreating the atmosphere and attitude of some of their favourite European clubs in the heart of England, and since this movement the brand has become a dominant and important fixture of Birmingham’s nightlife. Working with some of the city’s leading underground promoters, their original ethos continues to emphasise a diverse musical background, with the combination of house, disco, techno, jazz, soul and dub all evident through their line ups to cater for a variety of musical tastes.
So far this year, Leftfoot have brought the likes of Young Marco, Dekmantel Soundsystem, The Black Madonna and Nightmares On Wax to the Hare & Hounds and The Rainbow Venues, and will continue to deliver a high calibre of both up and coming and established talent across the coming months.
Highlights from the upcoming weeks include a sunset terrace party at The Rainbow Venues with Peggy Gou, who had an impressive breakthrough 2016, plus a show from drum n bass and soul enthusiast Dego, whilst lauded selector Andrew Weatherall takes control at Hare & Hounds in July.
