There's something beautiful about an extended set from a true master. They set the pace and deliver it at peak time, going through a litany of sounds and genres in the process, and can arguably create more diversity when done right than an ensemble of selectors.
It's all down to the quality of the DJ though. So when said DJ is Andrew Weatherall you know you are in for a treat, and Saturday 6th February he'll be doing just that at the Williamson Tunnels in Liverpool for 303, returning for his fourth stint at the popular clubnight (listen to a recent podcast from the man above).
303 take Slam to Manchester the night before at Joshua Brooks, as well as a bumper NYE special with Justin Robertson, but this is quite the coup. The venue is no stranger to DJs in command for the whole evening, having been the location for a memorable all night affair from Danny Howells for Freeze back in 2010.
