The first date of October sees Chibuku barnstorming through with a deliciously gruff line-up wholly focused on the rougher end of the dance music spectrum. Chibuku remains peerless in its representation of the darker side of rave; when drum n bass, dubstep, hip-hop and bass music collide there are few that do it better across the land. This party is a curt reminder of why they are so visceral, as Chibuku yet again triumphs three-room abandon.
The Theatre showcases the first of these manifestations with Andy C taking centre stage. The Theatre is also bolstered by will be the euphoric drum n bass of Hospital Records’ High Contrast and Austrian duo Camo & Krooked. There’s also Belgian liquid funk sensation Netsky with MC contributions from MC Messy & Mc Wrec.
The Loft is just as rambunctious, with Beardyman up in the area. Having contributed some of the funniest and most rip-roaring festival moments to nigh on everyone over the summer, he brings his vivacious humour to Chibuku for another side splitting speaker shredding onslaught. Joining him will be TC, a man firmly fixed on the power of a bassline and a synth heavy riff, his dubstep voiced by the reliably hyped Madrush MC. Chibuku resident Rich Furness finishes things off.

The following week sees the Chibuku machine gather even more pace, with a humdinger of a line-up in place for October 8th. Dubstep heavyweight Skream returns to the club to show just why he's one of the biggest names in the UK music scene today. Joining him will be DJ sets from Jackmaster and SBTRKT; two hotly tipped future stars of the music scene. Up in The Loft Italian electro lords Crookers will be at the helm with their Dr Gonzo project.
