Animal Collective to play Liverpool show in September

Animal Collective will play a special Liverpool show at the 02 Academy on Saturday 3rd September, following the release of their recent album Painting With. 

Comprised of Panda Bear, Avey Tare, Deakin and Geologist, the experimental psych-pop group verge on the outlandish once again with their latest boundary bursting record.

After a number of listens, the intricacies, kooky sampling and sheer brilliance of each soundscape is easily recognised with songs like lead single 'FloriDada' (listen above).  

Animal Collective formed in Baltimore circa 1999, they boast numerous critically acclaimed albums including Merriweather Post Pavilion and Strawberry Jam that have harboured them a strong cult following.
