Zane Lowe left big shoes to fill following his twelve year tenure at Radio 1, however Annie Mac has taken it all in her stride and amassed a following of her own.

It seemed Annie Mac had a mountain to climb in reinventing Zane Lowe's much revered spot on BBC Radio 1. The pioneer of 'The Hottest Record in the World' left for Apple Music after twelve years on the station, but since then Annie has worked wonders, merging her knowledge of dance music seamlessly with the latest indie releases and has won fans over.
With the help of artists such as Jack Garratt, singer MO and producer Mura Masa, her show has amassed figures of up to 1.74 million listeners, over 100,000 more listeners than that of her predecessor's show.
Alongside dominating the radio waves, Annie is still setting the club scene alight, having this year started her own festival Lost & Found (watch some of the highlights above).
Her blockbuster Annie Mac Presents tour is touring the UK at present, and we're giving one of you the chance to not only win a ticket, but a meet and greet with the queen of dance herself (head here for more details on our Annie Mac comp).
