With this year's much anticipated Beacons Festival just around the corner, the much loved festival ramps up the hype for this year's edition with an Antics Weekender at Manchester's Night and Day Cafe, held over the course of two days starting on Friday 1st August.
The opener is headlined by grungey lo fi rock merchants Then Thickens, who will be exhibiting their brilliantly catchy, guitar lead output that is apparent in their record 'Tiny Legs' (above) - a BBC Radio 6 favourite that has been championed by tastemakers Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq.
There's more guitar goodness coming from the impressive Shinies, who recently released the infectious 'Tangled' EP plus plenty more acts promising a top evening of belting rock and indie.
The following day brings garage rock two piece Bromheads to the fore, check out their catchy sound in 'Holding the Gun' taken from their EP of the same name above. Adding to that is the bluesy rock resonance from Coroner for the Police, and Manchester dark pop enthusiasts LVLS plus many more. Grab your tickets here.
