Applebum announces Sankeys Ibiza residency details

Applebum has revealed details of a 13 week residency at Sankeys Ibiza which will run every Tuesday from 21st June to 13th September. The celebration of hip hop and R&B culture and will be the first event of its kind to hit the White Isle. 

Appearances from the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, N.W.A’s DJ Yella and many more legends of the genre have been scheduled for the season. The opening will be led by turntablist extraordinaire DJ Yoda, whilst the closing will be headlined by Nightmares On Wax and a special guest.

Other highlights include an Ibiza debut from DJ Premier (who we interviewed earlier this year) in week two and 'Gangster’s Paradise' creator Coolio in week eight.

The Applebum organisers have voiced their ambitions of paying homage to the hip hop greats who have influenced MCs and beat-makers of today in thee party capital of the world.
