Following a typically gargantuan line up announcement that has selected the finest in indie, grime, house, electronica, techno and all that's in between, Parklife 2017 has unveiled who will be playing where and when.
The arena breakdown sees one of the country's finest live acts, The 1975, headline the Parklife Stage on Saturday 10th June with the likes of Two Door Cinema, Chaka Khan, Cabbage, The Japanese House and more also featuring throughout the day. On Sunday 11th June, headline duties are left to the silky smooth sonics of Frank Ocean with main support coming from the world's best ever hip hop troupe, A Tribe Called Quest.
Jme, Skepta and the rest of the BBK crew top the bill at Temple the same night, following sets from a heap of grime gods such as Giggs, AJ Tracey and P Money while grimy selectors DJ EZ and Preditah also deliver on day one. On Sunday, David Rodigan is left in charge of proceedings and has selected Damian Marley, Andy C, Wiley, Danny Brown and shed loads more to bring the bass.
Those who've packed their dancing shoes, or wellies if the Manchester weather has anything to do with it, can enjoy sets from Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Hot Since 82 and plenty more on what is arguably the finest looking line up of the day courtesy of The Warehouse Project and Kaluki Presents Stage. On Sunday, dance music God Carl Cox tops the bill with Lauren Lo Sung, Adam Beyer, Kolsch and more in tow.
The biggest of beats are left to those on the Hangar stage, including Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Hannah Wants and more on day one, while the likes of Eric Prydz, Armand Van Helden, Dusky and more hold court the day after.
Representing a new wave of tremendous talent, (and a few icons too) on the Sounds Of The Near Future stage are the likes of Loyle Carner, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals and Rejjie Snow on the Saturday, while Sunday sees shows from Flying Lotus, Mura Masa, Sampha and Tom Misch, amongst others.
Jackmaster curates proceedings on the Palm House stage on Saturday, selecting Moodymann, The Black Madonna, Fatima Yamaha and more to do the honours. The following day, the mantle is passed to the Feel My Bicep boys who have enlisted Dixon, Jon Hopkins, Midland and plenty more to bring the noise.
Elrow's selections for the Far West stage bring Solardo, Waze & Odyssey, Skream, Joseph Capriati and more to Manchester across the weekend while Utilita Energy bring the likes of Wilkinson, Dub Phizix & Strategy and Noisia to Ape & Metropolis on day one, before it transforms into the Discoteque on day two with Joe Goddard, Artwork, Horse Meat Disco and more all playing.
