Art Garfunkel looks a safe bet to be joining the line up at this year's Glastonbury Festival after his guitarist Tab Laven revealed details of the singer's European tour.
Laven wrote on Facebook: "Home, sweet home in Nashville after a great run of shows through Germany, Paris and Antwerp. We'll be back in England in June to perform at the Glastonbury Music Festival. Headliners this year include Coldplay, Muse and ELO. The huge festival is already sold out! We'll also be doing a show at King Henry the VIII's place, Hampton Court Palace on June 22nd, just outside of London. So if you're in the area....."
With a peerless back catalogue from his days in partnership with Paul Simon as well as his solo work, Garfunkel renditions of classics like 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' (watch a stunning performance below) 'The Sound of Silence' and 'Bright Eyes' would be sure to go down a storm at Glastonbury.
Rumours of who will take the remaining Glasto headline slot continue to circulate with the Stone Roses and Radiohead both hotly tipped to join Coldplay and Muse at the top of the bill
