Multi million selling alternative rock act Ash have been announced as Saturday night headliners at the sold out Loopallu Festival.
Since their first appearance on Top of the Pops whilst waiting for their A Level results, the Irish band have enjoyed an 18 year career that's seen them sell eight million albums worldwide and produce five studio records together.
Also appearing over the weekend are Friday night headliners The Feeling, one of the most influential punk bands of the 70's Buzzcocks, Fratellis frontman Jon Fratelli, Scotland's fast rising stars Kassidy, Admiral Fallow, Rachel Sermanni who will be treating Loopallu to her last full band show of the year, the recently reformed The Bluebells and many more.
Tickets for Loopallu 2011 are completely sold out however, Ash will also be stopping off at The Ironworks in Invernes on Friday 16th September to play another special show.
