The r&b legend will be joined by some very special guests at the BEC Manchester show, and will also perform a string of solo dates in Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds and Liverpool as part of her UK tour in the new year.

Grammy-award winning r&b singer, producer, dancer and actress, Ashanti has announced plans to come to the UK in 2020. Confirmed dates on her upcoming tour so far include Birmingham, Glasgow, Norwich and Manchester, and at the latter she will perform to a crowd of up to 2,000, at the BEC Arena or Bowlers Exhibition Centre.
Ashanti will be joined at the Manchester date by American singer-songwriter Mario, known for his hit 'Let Me Love You' and esteemed 90's r&b crooner, Ginuwine, while the reminder of the tour dates belonging solely to Ashanti.
The singer-songwriter, most commonly recognised for her collaborations with fellow American, rapper Ja Rule on 2001's 'Always on Time' and 2002's 'What's Luv?' with Fat Joe, has been the receiver of multiple accolades, including eight Billboard Music Awards, four Soul Train Music Awards and the Aretha Franklin Entertainer of the Year Award. She's also collaborated with the likes of Rick Ross, T.I. and more.
She began her career in music after auditioning for P Diddy at his office back when she was just 13 years old, performing a rendition of Mary J Blige's 'Reminisce' and was signed to the 'Bad Boy' label on a development deal before releasing her debut self titled album in 2002 through Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings. The record received widespread critical acclaim, sold over half a million copies in its first week breaking previous records for a debut female artist and went on to sell a further six million copies worldwide.
Ashanti's most popular track 'Foolish', taken from the singer's eponymous album, also broke records. The lead single entered the billboard charts top 100, spending ten weeks at number one, at the same time as the two aforementioned tracks 'Always on Time' and 'What's Luv?'.
The singer will land in the UK, in January 2020 performing at the The Great Hall in Cardiff, Manchester's BEC Arena (Bowlers Exhibition Centre), Rock City in Nottingham, Leeds O2 Academy and Liverpool's Guild Of Students.
Ashanti tickets are available to purchase for the dates below, and those signed up for the Manchester date are eligible for early bird tickets, on sale at 9am on Wednesday 22nd October.
