Audiofarm and Lowdown & Dirty join forces for Dirty Farm this NYE!

Two of the muckiest exports in club land are joining force this New Year's Eve for a huge three floor extravaganza at Sound Control.

Audio Farm and Lowdown and Dirty have been responsible for some of the filthiest nights that Manchester has seen this year, so what better way to round off 2011 than with three floors and six hours of techno at their (not so) fair hands. 

The Audio Farm guys have a very special treat in store for Dirty Farmers, in the form of veteran techno DJ Trevor Rockliffe, who touches down on the farm's turntables at 12am. A pioneer DJ in the prototype years of early UK techno culture, Trevor was taken under the gargantuan wing of Carl Cox, being the first signing on Cox's Ultimate DJ agency as well as being exposed to the world on wax on both of Cox's imprints 'Ultimatum Records' and Intec recordings. Trevor's beats are a concoction of tribal and techno drum patterns, but in contrast are layered with that hi tech soul and filtered grooves that are usually found on the dancefloors of Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia.

Supporting as always are the faithful techno trawlers, the Audio Farmers building up with a no frills affair of disco, deep house and classic club sounds you've come to demand from the farms key players.

As for the Lowdown and Dirty chaps, they welcome back one of their favourite DJs in the form of Tech Funk king Meat Katie, who'll be taking charge of Sound Control's basement this NYE. Expect a huge sound system with full on lighting and visuals and DJ support from residents Resistance & Ash Howell plus Midlands Producer, Call me T.
