The final Bank Holiday weekend of the summer is just around the corner, and Manchester's promoters are pulling out all the stops to make it one to remember. Or not, as the case may be.
With epic blowouts, intimate basement parties and of course Manchester Pride events happening in every nook and cranny of the city, there's something for clubbers of all tastes.
So choose your weapon, strap in, and prepare to make the last bank holiday weekend of summer 2011 count.
Blackout with Justin Robertson, Sunday 28th August
A brand new clubnight for Manchester, Blackout is brought to you by the teams behind established clubnights Funkademia and El Diablos and takes place this Bank Holiday Sunday in the newly refurbished basement of the Soup Kitchen. For the first in this series of unexpected and irregular club nights, the guys have enlisted the help of international DJ Justin Robertson, who'll be playing a rare Anything Goes set. Content with Secretsundaze, Friday 26th August
Content returns to Joshua Brooks this Bank Holiday Friday, this time teaming up with Giles Smith and James Priestley to bring Manchester its first ever Secretsundaze party. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Secretsundaze will take over the top floor of Joshua Brooks from 4pm with a daytime party and barbecue. As the night falls the party will move downstairs into Content's usual home of Joshua Brooks' industrial basement, where Sistrum records boss Patrice Stewart will take the Secretsundaze vibes into the early hours.

Funkademia, Saturday 27th August
Manchester's longest running club night Funkademia returns for a Bank Holiday special with the ever popular Gareth Brooks in the main room and brand new female DJ trio Dance Lady Dance in the back room playing a set of girly dancefloor smashers.

Kate Lawler at Bitch, Saturday 27th August
Dj/producer and Toolroom artist Kate Lawler returns to Bitch on August 27th for a bank holiday bitch-fest at Venus, as part of the city's LGBT Pride celebrations. Joining her for this party to promote dignity on the dancefloor is close friend and DJ partner in crime Suze Rosser, as well as Bitch residents Lempo, Mark Kovich and Pete Mobey.

John Dahlback and Pleasurekraft at Sankeys, Friday 26th August
The world's number one club will celebrate Bank Holiday Friday in style, with an inspired line-up that sees John Dahlback, Pleasurekraft and Juan Kidd take to the decks for a Bank Holiday smasher until 5am.

Federation at Manchester Pride, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August
Two of the biggest clubnights of Manchester's LGBT Pride weekend come courtesy of the hugely popular Federation, who will dominate the after hours Pride celebrations. First up is a huge, production led Out Of Africa themed event at Manchester Academy on Saturday 27th August, where anAfrican dance troupe will join resident Federation DJs and entertainers for a completely wild night out. The following night (Sunday) sees a cool New York electronic disco party at Sankeys, where three rooms of music will cater to all tastes until 5am.
