BBC Radio 1's Academy Live Lounge schedule

BBC Radio 1's Academy, paves way for a week long schedule of the legendary Live Lounge this year, featuring a host of popular chart tenants.

The key radio station have curated numerous free workshops and sessions aimed at enhancing media career prospects, taking place in Norwich from Saturday 9th - Friday 15th May. 

Alternative rock band Lower Than Atlantis open up the cover focused sessions on Monday 11th at the regular time of 12:00 - 12:45. They'll also strum from their punk rock rooted library that boasts cuts such as 'Here We Go'.

Jessie Ware, the vocal sensation behind numerous chart hits and collaborations including 'Say You Love Me' above, lights up the studio on Wednesday 13th. 

If it's a slice of melodic indie you're looking for, The Maccabees step in the following day, flaunting their latest hit 'Marks To Prove it' above. 

Ella Eyre rounds up the action on Friday 15th, priming her powerful voice that's already bagged her a number one single and a record deal with Virgin EMI.
