BackToBasics and Hipodrome Present John Digweed and Adam Beyer in Leeds

BackToBasics join forces with newly founded soiree Hipodrome to bring techno stalwarts John Digweed and Adam Beyer back to Leeds on May 27th.

John Digweed, who needs no introduction, has probably touched the lives of everybody involved in dance music over the last 20 years -  whether it be with his Renaissance work or with his very own Bedrock imprint.

Adam Beyer is also a name for the big stages. The Drumcode front man blew the roof off Mission when he played there four years ago with his famous bass heavy, hard percussive sound. More recently, Adam has developed a fresh angle with his music, taking it to a whole new level.

Support comes from the BackToBasics faithful, Tristan Da Cunha. Tristan has been an ever present at the club for many years now, also becoming part of Leeds’ finest label 20/20 Vision. Recently Tristan and fellow Basics hitter Frenchy started Throwing Shapes, a local radio show pushing the newest vibes in Deep House and Disco. With guests like Ralph Lawson, Chris Duckenfield and Subb_Ann the show has gained much respect throughout the region.

Matt Cooper has also been busy. Travelling with Pioneer, he has taken the EFX unit around the country to relay his James Zabiela-esque skills onto the amazed punter. Also having tracks out on Fergie’s Rekluse label, Matt has gone from strength to strength with his sound. Matt always rises to the big stage, and has garnered respect from the likes of UMEK, Steve Lawler and Zabiela himself for his energy on stage.
