Indie singer/songwriter Badly Drawn Boy will be playing a special one-off concert with Liam Frost at The Roadhouse to raise money for The Christie Hospital on Saturday 12th July.
The gig is in remembrance of The Roadhouse co-owner Steve Lloyd who passed away earlier this year and all proceedings will go to the charity.
The Roadhouse is one of Manchester's staple live music venues and past guests include The White Stripes, Coldplay and Kasabian.
Headlining the fundraising event is Lancashire born Badly Drawn Boy AKA Damon Gough. Gough's first album The Hour of Bewilderbeast was critically acclaimed and launched him into mainstream success. Badly Drawn Boy successfully won the 2000 Mercury Music Award and Q Magazine previously named him as part of their '50 Bands to See Before You Die' feature.
Joining him will be owner of Emperor Records and alternative/folk artist Liam Frost.
