Balter Festival 2023: Tickets on sale this Wednesday - sign up now
Returning to Chepstow Racecourse in Wales next year, the UK's 'maddest' small festival will provide an eclectic programme of live music across one long sunny weekend in May
Date published: 31st Oct 2022
Organisers behind one of Wales' 'maddest' live music events, Balter Festival, have recently taken to social media to announce the return of the popular outdoor event in 2023.
Set to run over four days for only the second time next year (Thursday 25th - Monday 29th May 2023), the extended weekend experience will again present an impressively eclectic programme of talent, performing a broad range of genres and styles - from drum n bass and jungle to techno, punk, ska and reggae.
Details regarding the bill of next May's instalment have yet to be disclosed with the full lineup set to be unveiled early in the new year. However, if this summer's edition was anything to go by, those who acquire tickets should expect something very special. Headliners of Balter Festival 2022 included Squarepusher, the electronic experimentalist signed to Warp Records, and Dutch Euro party outfit, Vengaboys.
Other names who appeared at this year's festival include Camo & Krooked, DJ Hazard, Current Value, Break, Hedex, Dillinja, Mampi Swift, Nicky Blackmarket, General Levy, Aries, Benny Page, Kelvin 373 and Inja, to name a few.
And don't just go for the music. Balter Festival is an all-encompassing experience, boasting wild walkabout and sideshow performances, a variety of amazing art installations, and much more. Not to mention a range of tastebud tantalising food venues, stalls and bars scattered across the site.
Tickets for Balter Festival 2023 will go on sale this coming Wednesday (2nd November 2022). Day ticket and Weekend ticket options will be made available with a variety of accommodation choices also on offer. To be the first in the queue to get your tickets, head to the bottom of the page now and sign up for a reminder.
