Banana Hill celebrates its fourth birthday in Sheffield with a series of events across autumn, plus its first birthday in Manchester with an event this October.
Banana Hill was developed in 2010 by two global groove enthusiasts. Following the successful radio show, the club night was then established in 2011. The popular music website of the same name has also been running alongside the other projects.
The fourth birthday series in Sheffield launches on Saturday 26th September with Will Holland aka Quantic at The Harley (check him out in action above), he's also set to play at the Manchester first birthday at Soup Kitchen on Saturday 3rd October.
Hyperdub's Cooly G headlines the part two event in Sheffield on Friday 16th October at The Harley, and on Saturday 7th November JD Twitch and JG Wilkes aka Optimo headline the part three event at Yellow Arch Studios. The fourth birthday finale takes place at Hope Works on Saturday 28th November with Marcellus Pittmann.
Between these birthday events, on Saturday 24th October Global Roots and Banana Hill invite Boiler Room's Tris Tian for a new quarterly residency at Soup Kitchen.
