In February Glasgow's Holy Esque delivered their debut record At Hope's Ravine to widespread acclaim. 

Through arduous persistence and financial compromise, the band have made it to this point after first clocking the radar with support shows for The Raveonettes and Wu Lyf, a string of sonic shifting EPs and festival slots including Glastonbury. 

Their anthemic sound is hinged on mountainous walls of interstellar noise, brooding atmospherics and contrasting tones that vary from the soaring to the euphoric to the shimmering and melancholic. Quite frankly, they're stadium-ready and we're assured of it.

What's most captivating is lead singer Pat Hyne's gritty, high reaching vocal that harks religious references and tales of love and escapism throughout their gloriously invigorating debut album. 

Quite often it's a single element that cuts the extraordinary from the pack and Pat's arresting voice is the driving force to enforce that thought.
