The next two weekends see the nation treated to two long weekends of Bank Holiday fun, sun (hopefully) and - importantly - lie ins.

To really make the most of the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekends, The Gallery are pulling out all the stops for two huge parties at The Ministry of Sound - on the 22nd and 29th April.

Here's what we've got to look forward to over the next coupled of weeks:

The Gallery Easter Party

Fri 22nd April

Easter Friday sees Wigan's wonderkid Eddie Halliwell take to the hallowed decks for the first time since Christmas. With the Fire It Up show soon to reach 100 episodes, Eddie has lasted the test of time - by keeping his sound innovative and engaging. Only Eddie can combine different musical genres to such devastating effect. It’s why Halliwell has been handpicked for Cream’s Ibiza residency this Summer – and for the renowned Judgement Sundays. Building on this Balearic success, the ED-IT showcase is widely acclaimed. A jaw dropping manipulation of beats and riffs, with interactive visuals and special effects. With the MOS famous soundsystem, LED wall and lasers – this will be something special.

Jordan Suckley will also be in attendance, whose Gareth Emery ‘Global’ rework has recently caused quite a commotion. Signed to Armada and nominated as Beatport’s ‘one to watch,’ look out for a technically perfect set.

Steve Mulder rounds off the Easter line-up. His credentials cemented after warming up for Carl Cox and PvD, Eddie’s producer of the year is here to rock his debut Gallery show.

The Gallery 16th Birthday

Friday 29th April

The Gallery reaches a landmark milestone in any timeline, with a commitment to young talent as well as those headline names, ensuring that the night continues to thrive and keeping the faithful returning week after week. What’s more, 2011 has seen the best start ever to a Gallery season. With Ministry’s award winning soundsystem, plus a combined expertise in visuals and production, there is no better environment to witness DJ Royalty. So of course, the night is celebrating with a quintessential Gallery line up…

Marco V has always been a firm favourite, but a groovy, edgier sound has seen somewhat of a re-invention. His closing set for the 2011 opening, was pure genius – and we can’t wait for a repeat. Judge Jules was always a definite on the invite list, knowing The Gallery inside out with his forward thinking ethos. Then the man of the moment Arty makes a long awaited debut – fresh from mixing ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 03.’ With a sharp, refined style, this is a superstar in the making – catching the eye of Armin, Ferry and resident Gavyn Mytchel. Who else better to round off a milestone party.

Just have a listen to what Above & Beyond, Super8 Tab and Jaytech have to say about Arty ahead of his Gallery debut:

Here's to another sixteen years!
