One of the first stars of dancehall reggae Barrington Levy is heading out on tour this June with shows in London, Birmingham, and Manchester. Tickets on sale Friday (31st March) at 9 am.
Barrington Levy has been a crucial element of dancehall reggae, a sound that was inescapable in 1980s Jamaica. With heavy tracks driven by bass and drums, Levy has churned out plenty of hits over his long, incredible career including Murderer, Black Rose, Under Mi Sensi, and Here I Come, to name just a few.
Following his rise to prominence in the scene, Barrington Levy has gone on to tour extensively, selling out shows all over the world. And now, he’s coming to bring his sunny vibes to England this summer.
You can catch Barrington Levy in London at O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday the 22nd of June, in Birmingham at the O2 Academy on Friday the 23rd of June, and in Manchester at Albert Hall on Saturday the 24th of June.
