The first Bank Holiday weekend of the year is looming, and it's a big one. Easter Weekend is a full four day middle finger to the working week which provides plenty of opportunities for you to ensconce yourself in hedonism, with more than a few parties already appearing on the Skiddle landscape. One of them is a surefire blter - the annual Bedorck Easter party.
Transitions with John Digweed - 23rd January 2014 by John Digweed on Mixcloud
A tradition in the capital. John Digweed's record label has been the starting point for electronic music lovers to celebrate Easter for years, usually equipped with an extended set from the master himself. That consistency is continued this year as Digweed will be delivering a six hour set for one of his eagerly lapped up forages into the electronic hemisphere, and has his hot off the press Transitions broadcast above highlights, that remains an enrapturing experience.
The event will be a nine hour extravaganza, taking place form 10pm- 7am on Thursday 17th April at London's Fire. As of yet there is no announced support but we will be sure to update you as soon as they announce them. Ticket info is here, and they will be on sale from 9am Friday 24th January.
