2022 continues to deliver us some amazing music, with brilliant albums to be found in so many different genres. We're highlighting some of the best albums to be released in the month of March from big pop records to alternative experimentation. We look forward to catching these artists live as soon as possible. Here are four albums that blew us away in March.

Nilufer Yanya- Painless

Nilufer Yanya is a phenomenal guitarist. Able to portray so much through her playing, she reaches into textures that you didn't realise were possible. Her latest album Painless mixes her guitar playing with euphoric synth and it makes for an album that feels delicately detailed.

The tracks speak of the claustrophobia that can come from living in packed urban areas such as in London and also tackles heartbreak with some beautiful melodies.

Charli XCX- Crash

Charli XCX secured her first #1 album with Crash, which may come as a surprise but Charli has always been a figure who has operated on the outskirts of pop. Relatively disinterested in blending in with the mainstream she has always pushed pop boundaries in order to set the blueprint for the future.

Crash is packed full of pop bangers and is arguably her most commercial album to date but is still the product of an artist fully in control of their vision and that makes this such an exciting listen all the way through.

Michelle- After Dinner We Talk Dreams

Michelle are a New York collective of young artists who combine to create pop music imbued with soulful melodies that elude into broader realms of R&B. They are a group that exudes seamless harmony, each member perfectly in sync with the others as they create rhythms and grooves that are difficult to resist.

After Dinner We Talk Dreams is an album that inspires both dancing and thoughtful conversation, it's a relaxer to get you through the day.

Denzel Curry- Melt My Eyez See Your Future

Denzel Curry just doesn't make music with half measures. Able to make songs that are imbued with soul as he distances himself from earlier misogynistic views and makes clear his intentions to atone for past mistakes. Yet with one quick snap of the head he goes into a full-throttle torrent of fiery outpour and you wouldn't want to be caught in his gaze.

On Melt My Eyez See Your Future, Curry commits to a myriad of feelings and different flows, making for an album that feels packed with personality. It flows brilliantly from beginning to end and is definitely a strong contender for the best album of the year. He's truly one of a kind.
