It feels like March is the month that really kicked things off when it comes to the best albums. Some huge stars released music this month and it was difficult to narrow down our favourites but here are the best of the bunch, from an indie supergroup to hyper pop and a brilliant collaboration between rappers.
Slowthai- Ugly
Slowthai was back with a bang this month, shaking off any doubts after his second album to deliver what is arguably his best album to date. The rapper embraced an unclean and energetic sound that suits him to the bone and it has resulted in some huge tunes that you can't miss. Read our full thoughts here.

Boygenius- The Record
There's no other way to say it but Boygenius are a supergroup comprised of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. Together, they have made an album that exemplifies the strength of their bond and there are absolutely no skips. Read our full thoughts in our review here.
JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown- Scaring The Hoes
A link-up that makes all kinds of sense, Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA are two of the best alternative rappers around right now. With Brwon's unique vocals and JPEGMAFIA able to create some of the most chaotic beats known to man, it was a match made in heaven. Read more about it here.

Lana Del Rey- Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Uner Ocean Blvd
Let's be honest, Lana Del Rey was never not going to release an amazing album this year. She may have a few collaborations, but she truly shines when on her own on this record and tracks such as 'A&W' will go down as some of her best to date. Very few can match her vocals.

100 gecs- 10,000 gecs
Alas, we get to 100 Gecs, one of the most insane creative duos to emerge in recent years. Their second album sees us encounter plenty of oddball sounds and it will definitely be too much for some people but if you like a bit of chaos then don't sleep on 100 gecs.
