November is the last month of the year that is stacked with album releases and we've been spoiled yet again this month. Huge names such as Stormzy have released new music whilst artists such as Gold Panda shouldn't slip through your radar either. Take a look below to see our recommendations for the best albums in November.

Weyes Blood- And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow

Weyes Blood's last album was a beautiful ode to our planet that served as a warning shot to impending doom. Her latest album, 'And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow', sees us right in the middle of the forewarned trouble. It sees her spell out a need for connection based on cosmic-sounding synths and beautiful string melodies that evoke a tragically downbeat world.

Phoenix- Alpha Zulu

French band Phoenix are known for their anthemic indie rock and 'Alpha Zulu', their first album since 2017's 'Ti Amo' is a reminder of just how refreshing their spin on the genre is. Their synth rock is as powerful as ever and it'll fill as many dancefloors as it does music venues.

Daniel Avery- Ultra Truth

Daniel Avery's 'Ultra Truth' may just be his best record to date. Avery is keen to emphasise that in the past his music has all been about escape but this time around he wanted to challenge darkness head-on. It makes for an intentionally heavy and dense album, yet it is also incredibly evocative, capable of producing a wide range of contrasting feelings.

Gold Panda- The Work

Gold Panda's latest album 'The Work' sees the producer working in a more tranquil space. With ambient sounds that slowly but surely create something quite moving. It's the kind of album that provokes a sense of healing, as you get fully lost in the gentle pluck of strings and empathetic piano keys.

Stormzy- This Is What I Mean

Stormzy has risen to become one of the highest profile figures in the modern UK music industry, He has helped sned Grime to the mainstream and his new album This Is What I Mean is another key statement. By far his most personal album to date, it shows just how much he has grown not only as a person but as an artist. It leaves us excited as to where he'll take his sound next.
