When we spoke to Rob da Bank a few weeks back about his Bestival highlights, one thing he spoke so passionately about was the inception and completion of the Port Stage. For those that are unaware, the Port Stage is essentially a ship built purposely for the festival, and in particular, for raving - an extravagant undertaking that pretty much sums up why Bestival is one of the country's most loved festivals.
Having come into existence back in 2013, the Port Stage has been the prime destination for those wanting cut loose at the Isle of Wight extravaganza, with the line up of DJs and performers a celebration of some of the biggest talents in dance music.
This year the highlight on the Port Stage has to be Annie Mac, who presents Master & Makers - a formidable line up of exclusive back to backs between legendary DJs and current giants.
Annie and festival boss Rob da Bank sit at the top of the bill. Not only can RdB curate more than one dynamite festival, he also knows his stuff behind the decks, as seen above.
Expect the finest in bass and roots when Toddla T and David Rodigan join forces, giving way to the Phantasy techno and acid of Erol Alkan and Daniel Avery.
The guv'nor, AKA Andrew Weatherall allies himself with Blase Boys regular Kiwi, Jackathon queen Heidi goes back to back with Amsterdam's finest Tom Trago, Paul Woolford dons his nasty junglist moniker Special Request when he joins Mella Dee, UKG don Wookie links with Rinse FM starlet Monki and Mele, whilst East London grime authority Slimzee backs up newcomer Flava D.
