Bestival took the 'Best Major Festival' gong back to Robin Hill from this year's UK Festival awards.
This year's Summer Of Love included Missy Elliot, Duran Duran, the Chemical Brothers and Underworld as headliner acts to help the Isle Of Wight Festival on its way towards the fantastic achievement (catch the after movie below).
On winning, festival boss Rob Da Bank said: "Oh crikey, Bestival HQ is in a psychedelic hangover fug today as news sinks in of our win last night at the Festival Awards."
"To win Best Major Festival in 2015 is testament to our incredibly faithful Bestivalites who come back year in year out, but also the likes of Missy, the Chems and Duran Duran for lighting up the skies, and mostly our tirelessly devoted staff and crew who make it all come together. This awards for all you guys…my mantelpiece is full already!."
Returning to action from Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th September in 2016, expect Bestival to pull out even more stops in 2016 with a major announcement expected in January.
